Stanley Czaja Jr., age 71, of Hobart, IN, passed away on Friday, August 12,2022 with his family by his side. Stanley was born on May 29,1951, in Gary, Indiana to Stanley and Irene Ann (nee Gemeinhart) Czaja Sr.  He proudly served his country in the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 260 in Portage and the VFW Post 5365 of Hobart.  Stanley was a loving son, brother, uncle, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Stanley is survived by his mother, Irene Czaja; two sisters, Donna Czaja and Pam (Mike Morris) Stanchina; two nieces, Stacy (Dave) Scott, and Lisa (Paul) Flynn; great nieces and nephews, Jessica, Zack, Jayden, Karissa, and Samantha; and many other loving family members and friends. Stanley was preceded in death by his love of his life, Jackie Czaja and his father, Stanley Czaja Sr.. In lieu of flowers donations to Stanley's family would be appreciated. A funeral service for Stanley will be Saturday, August 20, 2022, at 10 am with Deacon Dennis Guernsey officiating at Rees Funeral Home 600 West Old Ridge Rd, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Cremation will follow.
