Stanley L Green

Stanley L. Green, age 75, of Hobart passed away Friday November 9, 2018 at the University of Chicago Hospitals.  Stanley was born August 14, 1943 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Clarence and Thelma (Baase) Green.  He was the president and owner of Monument Electronics. He was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church. Stanley was a past president of the Hobart Rotary Club and the Hobart YMCA.  He also supported the Boy Scouts of America as a volunteer.

Stanley is survived by his loving wife of fifty-one years, Carol; two sons, Stephen (Lynette) Green of Valparaiso and Brian (Melissa) Green of Valparaiso; four grandchildren, Jacob, Kayla, Gabrielle and Paul.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be celebrated at 10:00 am Friday November 16, 2018 at Trinity Lutheran Church 900 Luther Drive Hobart, Indiana 46342 with Rev Nathan Kramer officiating.  Burial will follow in Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.  Visitation will be held Thursday November 15, 2018 from 2:00-8:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or to Boy Scouts of America Troop #69.
