Obituary
STELLA C. MEHALIC, age 95, of Hobart, passed away Monday, May 23, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Stella had been a Northwest Indiana for over 65 years. She was a homemaker.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Mehalic of Canonsburg, PA and guardian, Carol Presdorf of Hobart. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Mehalic and parents, Kazmir & Edna Antoszewski.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 26, 2011 from 1:00-2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 pm with Rev. Robert B. Evers officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville, Indiana.
