Stephan A. Puskac, 37, of North Judson, formerly of Lake Station, passed away on November 18, 2023. Stephan was highly active in participating with training of his beloved dutch shepherds Segen, Makeda, and Frayja, along with many others.

Stephan was born in Valparaiso, IN in 1986 to Peggy (Brown) Rey and the late Stephen Puskac. Stephan was a graduate of Portage High School in 2005. He was active in the South Haven Boys and Girls Club. Stephan has spent many of his days the last 15 years working at US Steel Gary Works.

Stephan is survived by his son Avery Puskac of Lake Station, Austin Puskac of Schererville, Mother Peggy (Al) Rey of Lake Station, Brother Christopher (Sabrina) Puskac of South Bend, Brother Joseph Puskac of Indio, CA, and Grandmother Margaret Brown of Lake Station. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins who loved him dearly.

Stephan is preceded in death by Uncle Rusty Brown of KY, Brother James Puskac of Lake Station, Aunt Tommie Brown of Lake Station, Grandfather Thomas Brown of Lake Station, and his beloved dog Hera.

Stephan is truly going to be missed for his sense of humor and his ability to never have a dull moment when he is present. His smile was contagious, and his jokes were endless. We couldn't have asked for a better father, son, grandson, brother, and cousin, and we will miss Stephan every day. His memory will live on in the hearts of all those who loved him.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 from 4-6pm at the Rees Funeral Home in Hobart located at 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. The service will be at 6:00 P.M. immediately following visitation officiated by Pastor Levi Oman.
