Stephanie L. ODerio (nee Saunders), age 42, of Gary, IN and formerly of Jefferson City, MO, passed away suddenly on Thursday, August 31, 2023.

Stephanie was born on August 30, 1981, in Lebanon, MO to Mitchell and late Dewey (nee Kelsey) Saunders.   She attended Nixa High School.  Stephanie married Dan ODerio on October 5, 2001, and spent nearly 22 loving years together.

Stephanie was a people person and was very good with managing others.  She was very friendly and made you feel at ease, like you knew her her whole life.  While she was great with others, she did enjoy her quiet time and considered herself a home body.  She loved all animals, especially her dog Missy.  She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Stephanie is survived by her husband: Dan; daughter: Cassandra; father: Mitchell (Kathy) Saunders; sister: Jennifer (Roy) Smith; step-brothers: Mike and Boone Reynolds; parents-in-law: Cynthia and Steve Mette; siblings-in-law: Chris (Andrea) Sons, Jason (Elaine) ODerio, and Lisa (Bob Haluch) Howard; many nieces and nephews; many other extended family members and friends; and her beloved pup: Missy.

Stephanie is preceded in death by her mother: Dewey; Grandfather, Jim Kelsey; Grandmother: Wanda Kelsey; step-brother: Andy Reynolds; and beloved cats: Nibbles and Mouse.

Memorial service for Stephanie will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023, 1:00 p.m. at 30 Louisville Road, Louisville, MO.

Cremation and arrangements are entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
