Steven L. Bohren, age 47, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2017. He was born on June 24, 1970 in Bend, Oregon to Gary and Lorraine Bohren. Steve was currently employed as an Ironworker and was a member of the Ironworkers Local# 395. He loved downhill snow skiing and will always be remembered as a skier extraordinaire. In his free-time, he enjoyed skateboarding and listening to all kinds of music. Above all, he loved his sons, and cherished the time he spent with them.
He is survived by his wife, Kelly Bishop Bohren; sons, Orion and Cormac Bohren; mother, Lorraine Bohren of Vancouver, WA; sisters, Cherilyn (Kent) Mitchell of Vancouver, WA, Heather Page of Camas, WA; mother and father-in-laws, Len and Linda Bishop of Sarasota, FL, Kathleen and Ray Truax of Portage, IN; brother-in-law, Lenny Bishop of Wheeling, WV; sister-in-laws, Melissa and Erika Bishop, both of Winfield, IN; nieces and nephews, Terrance (Taylor) Mitchell, Anthony (Amber) Bishop, Michael Bishop, Keely Mitchell, Christian Page, Mia Page. Also surviving are his best friend, Shannon Bond and his beloved dog, June Carter.
Steve was preceded in death by his father, Gary Allen Bohren; and two nieces, Maya Bishop and Shalee Mitchell.
