Steven L. Gossett, age 54, of Lake Station, passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. Steven was born April 26, 1962 in Gary, Indiana to the late James Gossett and Dorothy Nell (nee Jones) Harris. He will be remembered as a loving father, brother, uncle, cousin and friend.
Steven is survived by his two sons, Steven J. Gossett and Eric Gossett; brother, Richard James (Deborah) Gossett; sister, Sharon (John) Olson; furry cat companion, Oreo and many other loving family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 14, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave, Portage, Indiana 46368, with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 14, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until time of service also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
