Steven Edward Miller, age 23 of Portage passed away Friday, October 28, 2022. He was born on July 25, 1999 in Valparaiso to Scott and Denise Miller. Steven was a 2019 graduate of Valparaiso High School and currently worked as a laborer. Steven liked to build computers and work on them in his free-time. He was a talented artist and liked to draw. He will always be remembered for his helpful and giving nature. He continued his benevolent nature at the end of his life by donating his organs to save the lives of complete strangers. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Steven's name may be made to Hope For The Day , a non-profit movement empowering the conversation on proactive suicide prevention. He is survived by his parents, Scott and Denise Miller; brother, Scot (Courtney) Miller; sisters, Marlaina (Logan) Louttit, Heather (Chris) Toups; many nieces and nephews; grandmother, Jan Paholski; aunts, Doreen Miller and Laura (Ray) Dovey.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, John Miller, David Caird and Jim Paholski.
