Stewart W. Allan, age 82, of Hobart passed away Sunday, November 4, 2018. He was born on April 24, 1936 in Weldon, Illinois to the late Harold and Catherine Helen (nee Shinneman) Allan. He was a retired zone manager for General Electric and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force.  He enjoyed hunting, photography, building and flying model airplanes and piloting single engine aircrafts.

He is survived by his son, Michael( Lori) Allan of Suwanee, Ga; daughter, Lori  (Tony) Aultman of Ga.; seven grandchildren, Kandi Burkhalter of Al., Christopher (Heather) Aultman of  Ga, Caitlin Aultman of  Ga, Julia, Sarah, Lindsay and Thomas Allan all of  Ga.; eight great-grandchildren, Dylan and Lauren Burkhalter  both of  Ga; Chevy and Bentley Channell both of  Al.;  Haylee, Hayden, Hudson and Lochlyn Aultman all of  Ga; He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Harold  Allan; two sisters, Deloris  Jackson and Gloria Axtell.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Nixon Township Cemetery 4698 State Highway 48 Weldon, Illinois 61882.
