Sue C. Mckee

Sue Carolyn McKee, age 81, of Crown Point, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018. She was born on November 29, 1936 in Memphis, Tennessee. On November 16, 1952, she married the love of her life, David McKee. Sue was a devoted member of Vale Church of Christ in Valparaiso. She dedicated her life to taking care of her family. In her free time, she enjoyed painting and drawing and she had a great appreciation of music.

She is survived by her daughters, Angela (Guy) Miller, Kay (Jack) Swims, Gloria McKee, Marsha (Greg) Pierson, Mary Schilling; son, David ( Kathy) McKee; grandchildren, Grant (Lorra) Miller, Ryan (Monica) Miller, Jessica (Rich) Garling, Kyle (Amanda) Swims, Sean (Erin) Crofton, Ashley (Melanie) Crofton, Jordan (Marika) Pierson, Brandon Pierson, Tyler Schilling, Andrew (Stephanie) McKee and Abbey (Matthew) O'Brien; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Juanita Hughes; and several other loving family members and friends.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Mary Stanley and her beloved husband, David McKee.

A celebration of life service for Sue will take place Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
