Susan J. Anderson, age 68, of Hobart passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at her home. Susan was born February 3, 1953 in Gary, Indiana to the Late Alfonse and Olivemae (Yester) Annaert.  Susan worked in the Hospitality Industry for over 20 years prior to retirement, last working for the Hampton Inn in Merrillville.  She was a longtime member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hobart.

Susan is survived by her two sons, Jamey (Tammy) Anderson of Hobart and Jason (Ember) Anderson of Arkansas; her two daughters, Jennifer (Paul) Howell of Texas and Jessica (James) Santana of Hobart; eleven grandchildren, Brendan, Monika, Kendall, Hayley, Kaitlyn, Lucinda, Jason Anderson II, Jacob, Elexis, Jerico, and Macaleb;  two brothers and two sisters, Mary (Steve) Bunch of South Carolina, David (Ruth) Annaert of Alabama, Helen (Tim) Karnitz of Minnesota and John (Lisa) Dooley of Minnesota; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation for Susan will be from 2-6 pm Sunday February 21, 2021 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342.  Funeral Services will be 11 am Monday February 22, 2021 at the Funeral Home. Cremation will follow.
