Obituary
Susan J. Burney, age 68 of Valparaiso passed away Tuesday, June 30, 2015. She was born on May 16, 1947 in Gary, Indiana to the late Lowell and Thelma Conrad. She was a former Hobart resident and graduated from Hobart High School, Class of 1965. Susan was employed at Midwest Products in Hobart for over 30 years. She retired as President and owner in 2005. Susan loved spending time with her family.
She is survived by two sons, Ryan (Anne) Burney of Avon, IN; Kevin (Laura) Burney Hopkinton, MA; four grandchildren, Joseph, Griffin, Madison, and Michael Burney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Burney in 2012.
Cremation will precede the services. There will be a memorial service on Monday, July 6, 2015 at 9 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
