SUSAN LYNN FLEMING, age 53, of Hobart, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday afternoon October 1, 2017 surrounded by the people she loved. She was born in Gary, Indiana on March 2, 1964 to the late Joseph and Martha Sobczak. Susan married Truman Fleming on July 15, 1995 in Kissimmee, FL. She was employed as an office assistant at Trans-United Brokerage, Inc. Susan loved the outdoors and enjoyed biking, beaching, boating, snow skiing, and walking her dogs. She also practiced yoga and had received her Reiki certification.

Susan is survived by her husband, Truman Fleming; 2 sons, Truman, Jr. and Trevor; 2 brothers, David and Richard (Schaelene) Sobczak; sister, Nancy (the late, Kent) Hisey; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Charles and Ami Fleming; 3 dogs, Chance, Tessa, and Koda; many numerous, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her brother, James Sobczak.

Private family services will be held at a later date. Cremation arrangements entrusted to Rees Funeral Homes, Hobart Chapel.
