Susan Ann Mitchell

Susan Ann Mitchell, age 53, of Portage passed away Monday March 5, 2018 at her home with her family at her side.  She was born December 10, 1964 in Gary, Indiana to the late Bruce and Margaret (Divich) Hartford.  Susan worked as a hair stylist for Hair Express for many years before becoming a driver of Bus #77 for Portage Township Schools.  She enjoyed working on crafts.  Susan worked hard all her life to provide for her family.

Susan is survived by her two sons, Jacob Meitzler and Fred Mitchell both of Portage; her sister, Ann (Joe) Wyckoff of Fort Pierce, FL; and many other loving friends and relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Bruce Hartford.

Funeral services will be conducted at 7:00 pm Sunday March 11, 2018 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368 with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.  Cremation will follow.  Visitation for Susan will be from 2:00 to 7:00 pm on Sunday at the Funeral Home.
