SUSAN M. “SUSIE” TELLEZ, age 53, of Hobart, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 28, 1973, to Richard and Ramona (nee Salinas) Tellez. Susie was a graduate of Crown Point Special Education Center and more recently attended the Center for Possibilities, which she loved. Susie was our “Dancing Queen” and the life of every party. She gave the best hugs. She loved bowling, shopping, and having her nails painted her favorite color, red. Her smile will remain forever in our hearts.

Susie is survived by her parents, Richard and Ramona Tellez; 3 siblings, Richard (Darlene) Tellez, Jr., Delores (Mike) Uhles and Carmen (Ray) Uribe; 5 nieces and nephews, Matt, Erica, Krista, Josh and Jenna; great nieces, Olivia, Arya and Kaisley; and special people in her life, Aunt Sylvia, Aunt Mary, Uncle Ray, Judy and Carol; other loving family and friends.

Visitation for Susie will be Monday, July 20, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. -5:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service at 5:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, IN. Services will conclude at the funeral home with cremation to follow at a later time
