Susie Arce

Susan C. Arce, age 61, of Portage, passed away Thursday, July 19, 2018 at home.  She was born in Wisconsin on June 1, 1957 to the late George and Carla (nee Fredrick) Lahm.  She will be remembered as a mother to all and will be missed by many.

Susan is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jesus Arce, Jr.; sons, Jesus Arce III, Donny (Cara) Arce, Johnathon Arce; daughters, Andrea (Ismael) Barbosa, Julie (Tony) Ornelas; grandchildren, Raphael, Lissette, Jacob, Alyssia, Alexis, Audrina, Mia, Lilliana; great grandchild, Zoey; and brothers, Jeff (Nancy) Lahm, Mark (Ruthie) Lahm, Kenny (Ellen) Lahm.

A funeral service for Susan will take place Monday, July 23, 2018 at 11:00 am with Dr. Cedric Oliver officiating at Embassies Of Christ Kingdom Ministries, 4285 Cleveland Street, Gary, Indiana 46408 .  Visitation will be held just prior to the service at the church from 10-11 am.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.  For more information, please call 219-762-3013.  Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.reesfuneralhomes.com .
