Tak Ming Lo
Hobart, Indiana
Tak Ming Lo, age 84, a longtime resident of Portage and Hobart, passed away on Friday, May 4, 2012. He was born on June 23, 1927 in China, the son of Cheung and Yuk Lo. Tak married Elizabeth Lui on December 26, 1946 in China. Tak and his wife were the owners and operators of the Jade Garden Restaurant. Tak was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and a friend to all.
Tak is survived by his loving family; wife Elizabeth Lo, Hobart, sons Stephen (Baiying) Lo, Hong Kong, Eric (Winnie) Lo, Hobart, Carlo (Joyce) Lo, Carmel, daughters Katrinia (Arthur) Ginn, More Park, California, and Agnes (Sam) Ma, Valparaiso, nine grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren, and other loving family and dear friends. Tak was preceded in death by his parents, his son Francis Lo, and his brother Yip Lo.
