Tamara Kaye Anderson, age 45, of Hobart, passed away August 25, 2015, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born September 14, 1969 in Hammond, Indiana, to Wayne and Martha (nee Demps) Billingsley. She worked at St Anthony Franciscan hospital as a Medical Administrative Assistant. She married the love of her life, Benjamin Anderson on October 20, 1990 in Hammond, Indiana. Tammi will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
Tammi is survived by husband, Benjamin C. Anderson of Hobart; two sons, Benjamin "Ryan" Anderson of Hobart and Dylan Anderson of Hobart; daughter, Madalyn Anderson of Hobart; grand-daughter, Rilynn Anderson of Hobart; paternal grandmother, Nadine Billingsley , three brother-in-laws, Jack (Brenda) Anderson II, Andy (Patty) Anderson and Jimi Jelenski; nephew, Jack Anderson III; two nieces, Ardenia and Grace Anderson and many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her sister, Nikki Jelenski, maternal grandparents, Mattie (Vasco) Demps; paternal grandfather, Ishmel Billingsley and father and mother-in-law, Jack (Carolyn) Anderson.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. directly at Abundant Life Community Church, 6808 Missouri Avenue, Hammond, Indiana, with Pastor Jack Anderson officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2015 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart Chapel.
