Tamara Gail Hiestand   Age 55, of Portage, passed away Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at St. Mary's Medical Center. She was born in Gary, Indiana on July 24, 1969, to Ivan G. and Pamela Hiestand (née Blatz).

Tammy had a great sense of humor, and everyone loved to be around her. She was a skilled artist and enjoyed painting gifts for her friends and family. Tammy was in her element on the beach and enjoyed collecting rocks and being in the sun. She also loved being around kids and always felt young at heart. She adored nature and animals, but especially her dachshunds, Baby Girl and Ollie.

She is survived by her daughter Kaylin (Justin Lyons) Keilman; mother, Pamela Hiestand; two sisters, Nerissa (Jeff Owens) Hiestand and Holly (Jeff) Wheeler; nieces, Kristin Joyce and Phoebe Wheeler; nephews Dane and Tate Wheeler, among several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ivan Hiestand and her fur babies, Ollie & Baby Girl.
