Tammy Lynn Lane (nee Fleming), age 55, of Lake Station, passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 surrounded by her loving family.  She was born in Gary, Indiana on April 2, 1962 to the late Fred and Adabell (nee Drake) Fleming.  Tammy was an adventurous woman who enjoyed fishing, flowers, traveling, refurbishing and salvaging antiques, and most of all, spending time with her grandchildren.  She will be remembered as a caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend.

Tammy is survived by her husband of 40 years, Tommy Lane; sons, Thomas (Sarah) Lane, Timothy Lane; grandchildren, Jasmine, Rian, Andrew, William; sister, Debra McInerney; brother, Freddie Fleming; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Brenda Fleming, Thedaluise Fleming, Patricia Esquiveo; and brother, William Fleming.

A funeral service for Tammy will be held Friday, December 22, 2017 at 10:00 am with Pastor Don Taylor officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd.
