TERA LYNN ROSS, age 24, of Valparaiso, died unexpectedly as a result of a car accident on Wednesday, May 1, 2013. She was born on September 14, 1988 in Oklahoma City, OK. She was a longtime Porter County resident and worked at the Quaker, Steak and Lube in Portage.
Tera was a beautiful person inside and out. She was the kindest person with the biggest heart. Tera always had an amazing bright smile on her face. She was loved and adored by everyone she knew. Tera will be missed greatly. Rest in paradise, Baby Girl. You will always be our #1.
Tera is survived by her 2 daughters, Mylee and Shayla; significant other, Deric Kettwig; parents, Becky Darby and Rick Barnett; 2 sisters, Tiffany (Eddie Lipkovitch) Ross, Jessica Darby; 1 brother, Aaron Darby; grandparents, Bertha and Tom Binecki; 2 aunts, Sheila (Dennis Hunter) Smith and Vicki (Mark) Ruzity; cousins, Rachel, Crystal, Amy (Butch), Jason, Josh, Curtis, Jay, Bishop, Duece, Marissa, Isiah, and Brittany; very close friends, Tammy and Dave Cain and Dan and Lisa Kettwig; other loving family and dear friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Curtis Darby and uncle, Jeff Darby.
Visitation for Tera will be Saturday, May 4, 2013 from Noon to 6 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Funeral services will also be Saturday at 6:00 p.m. with Rev.
