Teresa Mitol

Age 64, of Hobart, passed away on March 9, 2026. She was born on June 8, 1961, in Gary Indiana to the late Stanley and Mary Ann (nee Kozlowski) MItol. Teresa was self employed and know by those around her as a hardworking and dedicated woman. She carried herself with strength and determination, and while she could be a bit stubborn at times, it was part of the spirited personality that those who loved her appreciated most. Above all, Teresa was a selfless woman whose greatest joy in life was her family. Her grandchildren were the center of her world, and she treasured every moment spent with them. She had a love for baking and was known to have a sweet tooth, often enjoying treats like ice cream and slushies. Teresa will be remembered for her caring heart, strong work ethic, and the love she gave so freely to those around her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

She is survived by her two daughters, Kelli (Adam) Goodman and Andrea Mitol; four grandchildren, Madison and Alexis Goodman, Steven and Annie Heckman; three brothers, Joe (Kathy) Mitol, Michael Mitol and Bryant Mitol; Nieces and nephews, Jennifer, Jamie, Jesse, Missy, Carter, Lee, Richie, Anne, Heather and Andrew and many other loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Carter Mitol, two sisters, Sandra Bull and Honora (Dave) Lucas and sister-in-law, Mickey Mitol.
