A memorial service will be held at Rees Funeral Home in Hobart on April 4 from 2-
4pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to their favorite
charity.
Terry was a life-long lover of the outdoors, with a particular passion for fishing. He
always preferred to be in his favorite place, Ely, Minnesota, catching walleye. He
was an avid bowler and golfer, even getting a hole-in-one in 2003. Terry had a
love/hate relationship with his Chicago sports teams, especially the Cubs and Bears.
He was thrilled to be able to see the Cubs finally win the World Series in 2016. Terry
never met a stranger and collected friends wherever he went. Most of all, Terry
loved his wife, Annie. They are soulmates, incredibly lucky to have 55 years
together, rarely spending any time apart. He is already deeply, fiercely missed by
all who were fortunate enough to know him.
