Terry Albertson, age 51, a resident of Lake Station, passed away on Monday, April 30, 2012. He was born on November 12, 1960 in Michigan, the son of Ivan and Mary Albertson. Terry served in the United States Army. Terry worked in roofing and construction for Hayes Roofing Company. He was married to Jennifer Kerns on February 9, 2010 in Valparaiso. Terry enjoyed watching movies, playing cards, and had an extensive knowledge of trivia. His greatest love was being with his family. Terry was a wonderful husband, father grandfather, brother, and a good friend to all.

Terry is survived by his loving family; wife Jennifer Albertson, Lake Station, children Jessica Albertson, Wanatah, Jeremiah (Brittany) Albertson, Valparaiso, Christpher Albertson, Portage, Rachael Albertson, Wanatah, Shianna Albertson, Portage, Rayna Kingery Lake Station, Savana Pridemore, Lake Station, and Chase Kerns, Lake Station, grandchildren Makayla and Addisyn, father Ivan (Terrie) Albertson, La Cross, numerous brothers and sisters,and other loving family and dear friends. Terry was preceded in death by his mother Mary Albertson in 2005.

A visitation for Terry Albertson will be held from 12:00 noon to 1:00 PM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home – Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, Indiana. A funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday, May 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Greg Arthur of the Duneland Community Church, officiating. Cremation will follow.
