Terry Lee Brown

Terry Lee Brown (nee Bishop), age 80, of Hobart, passed away August 10, 2020 at home. She was born on November 13, 1939 to the late Ralph and Betty Bishop. She enjoyed cooking and fishing. She was a professional BINGO player. Terry loved children and devoted her life to their happiness as an Ice Cream Truck driver. She was a huge Cubs fan for many many years and she really enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting activities. Terry's greatest joy in life was her family and she cherished the time she spent with all of her grandchildren.

Terry is survived by her daughters, Tina McPhee of Hobart, Shelly (Michael) Zormier of Hobart; son, Michael Alvarado of Griffith; 15 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; brother, Ralph Raymond "Buddy" (Jackie) Bishop, Jr.; nephew, Jeffrey Bishop; and niece, Tammy Jaeger.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Betty Bishop; husband, James Brown; great grandson, Gerid Bradford; great granddaughter, Olivia Hummel; granddaughters, Misty and Marissa Alvarado; and daughter-in-law, Christine Alvarado.

Memorial contributions in Terry's name may be made to the family to help with funeral costs.

Visitation for Terry will be held Friday, August 14, 2020 from 12:00 pm until 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. A funeral service for Terry will take place Friday, August 14, 2020 at 1:00 pm at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Evergreen Memorial Park.
