Terry Allen Churchill, age 75 of Westville passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2026. He was born on August 19, 1950, in St. Joseph, Michigan to the late Elwood and Donna Churchill.
He is survived by his daughter, Angelina (Theodore) Proctor, his sons, Randall Churchill, Daniel (Carrie) Churchill; 16 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great great granddaughter; brothers, Larry (Barbara) Churchill, Michael Churchill, Kent Churchill; sister, Karla (Randy) Hora; and many nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Elwood and Donna Churchill; and two brothers, Ronald and Steven Churchill.
Terry grew up in Eau Claire, Michigan. He loved to tell tall tales of the mischief he got into growing up, especially during his teen years. He graduated from Eau Claire High School and became a truck driver, hauling many different things all over the United States. He knew the highways by heart.
Later in life he fell in love with being a grandpa. One favorite memory is about the time he insisted on cooking all the food for his first granddaughter's wedding and because it was out of state, his determination to do so led him to setting up a makeshift kitchen in his hotel room where he made homemade Mexican food, enough to feed 75 people.
His great grandchildren brought him even more joy. He talked about them constantly and kept every photo he could get a hold of.
Terry loved the Lord and wanted everyone to know the Lord too. He loved to talk about God's grace.
A celebration of Terry's life will take place Friday, January 23, 2026 at Liberty Bible Church, 824 N. Calumet Ave. Chesterton, Indiana. Family and friends are invited to gather from 12-1pm. Service will start at 1 pm. Cremation was entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Online condolences may be shared with the family at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
