Terry Lee Lewis Sr.

Terry Lee Lewis Sr., age 59, of Hobart, Indiana, passed away on February 14, 2026.

Terry was a truck driver by trade, but a problem solver by nature. He was known as a man who could fix just about anything- a true-life MacGyver. If Terry couldn’t help you himself, he knew someone who could and if that person couldn’t help, he knew another guy. He was resourceful, fearless, quick-lipped, and always ready to step in when someone needed him.

He loved fishing, hunting, tinkering, and working with his hands. A proud Green Bay Packers fan, Terry lived life boldly and without fear. He had a sharp wit, a big heart and a reputation for being a good man through and through.

To his brother, he was a hero. To his family and friends, he was dependable, loyal, and strong the kind of man you could always count on. Terry’s legacy is one of loyalty, courage, generosity, and quiet strength.

He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.

He is survived by his son, Terry L. (Melissa) Lewis Jr.; two daughters, KyLee R. Lewis and Justice L. Lewis; four grandchildren; mother, Dorothy (Eddie) Sult; father, Dannie L. (Glenda) Lewis Sr.; sister, Glenda Lewis; four brothers, Jacob (Debra) Lewis and Dannie (Roxie) Lewis Jr., Daniel (Melissa) Lewis and Matthew Lewis; step father, Wesley Edmonds and special friend, Tara Lewis.

In lieu of flowers donations to Justice’s education would be appreciated.

A celebration of Terry’s life will be held at a later date. Cremation is entrusted to Rees Funeral Home and cremation services 600 West Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, Indiana 46342. (219) 942-2109 or online condolences can be shared with the family at www.reesfuneralhomes.com
