Terry Reigert

Rose T. "Terry" Reigert (nee Curley), age 89, of Indianapolis and formerly of Portage, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2018. She was born on July 26, 1928 in Gary, Indiana to the late Thomas and Mary Curley. She was a 1949 graduate of William Wirt High School. She loved her job working as a grade school librarian in Portage for 22 years. Her favorite hobby was doing crafts and she was always busy with one craft or another, particularly knitting and sewing. She was a devoted member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church.

Terry is survived by her husband, Peter Reigert; daughter, Mary Elizabeth (Joel) Reigert Klee of Indianapolis; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, John "Jack" Curley, Bernard Curley, Thomas Curley; sisters, Mary Ellen Heims, Katherine Curley and Winifred Turley. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimers Association, 50 East 91 ^st Street, Suite 100, Indianapolis, IN 46240.

Visitation for Terry will be held Friday, February 9, 2018 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. A funeral service for Terry will take place Saturday, February 10, 2018 at 1pm at the funeral home with additional visitation there from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
