Terry Alvin Timmerman
Age 83, Hobart passed away April 19, 2025, at Saint Mary's Medical Center. He was born on November 09, 1941, in Blue Island, Illinois to the late Henry "Red" C. and Elizabeth "June" Timmerman. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Terry married the love of his life Sharon on June 28, 1970, in Blue Island, Illinois and a devote member of Trinty Lutheran Church in Hobart. Terry was a loving husband who put his family first, he enjoyed spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was an avid coin collector, computer tech and loved music from the 40's-60's, especially big bands and classical music.
He is survived by his loving wife, Sharon Timmerman; son, Alan (Roxanne) Timmerman; daughter, Arlene (Michael) LaRue; brother, David (Judy) Timmerman; two grandchildren, Tyler Bulatovich and Lauryn Timmerman; three great grandchildren, Greyson Timmerman and Ayla and Hunter Gocal and many other loving family members and friends.
Terry was preceded in death by his father, Henry "Red" Timmerman; mother, Elizabeth "June" Timmerman and brother, Jay Timmerman.

A funeral service for Terry will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 900 Luther Drive, Hobart, Indiana 46342 with Pastor Nathan Kramer officiating. Visitation will be held from 2:00-8:00 pm on Friday, April 25, 2025, at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. The burial will be on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 2:30 pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery 27034 South Diagonal Road Elmwood, Illinois 60421.
