Theodore "Teddy" Choucalas age 29, passed away Thursday, October 23, 2025. He was born on January 18, 1996, in Valparaiso, Indiana to Angela Choucalas and Tito Caudillo Jr.  Teddy was a loving and devoted family member who brought energy, humor and curiosity into everything he did. A hardworking mechanic, he had a natural gift for understanding how things worked whether under the hood of a car or inside a computer. He stayed up to date on current events and was known as a true "Techie", often helping others with electronics, robotics and anything digital. In his younger years, Teddy was an accomplished wrestler. He wrestled for Portage youth wrestling  and was a proud member of the Vega Wrestling Club. He loved music, innovation and spending time with the people he cared about most. Teddys' quick wit, bright mind and caring heart will be forever missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his mother, Angela Choucalas; father, Tito Caudillo Jr.; three nephews, Eliyot Keller, Tyler J. Choucalas Jr. and Ashtyon Keller; niece, Airabella F. Choucalas; grandma, Sandra (Jim) Patterson; aunt, Lynette Caudillo,  Evelyn (Barry) Bookbinder; uncles, Ted (Marie) Choucalas, Paul (Zoe) Choucalas, Mike (Stephanie) Choucalas and Dennis Herndon; many loving cousins and other family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Tyler Choucalas; maternal grandparents, Betty and George Choucalas, paternal grandfather, Tito Caudillo Sr. aunts, Marian Herndon, Liana Caudillo and cousin, Brad Lightfoot.
