Theophila Julia Zulick, age 93 of Northwest Indiana passed Tuesday, December 03, 2013. She was born on December 28, 1919 in Gary, Indiana to the late Joseph and Apolonia (nee Pietras) Grabb. Theophila was a member of the St Michaels Byzantine Church in Merrillville. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her loving family, son, Shawn (Karen) Zulick of Oklahoma; daughter, Cassandra (Stephan) Matie of Hobart; three grandchildren, Natalie (Kenneth) Conley, Christopher Matie and Lisa Matie; one great grandson, Aidan Conley, many other loving family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Nick Zulick, three sisters, Loreta Gregg, Mildren Hatten and Victoria Grabb and brother, Ignatious Grabb.
Funeral service for Theophila will be held Friday, December 6, 2013 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana with Rev. Basil Hutsko officiating.
