Theresa May Broman,

Age 64, of Lake Station, Indiana, passed away on March 1, 2026. She was born on March 15, 1961, in Merrillville, Indiana to the late Clyde and Thelma (nee Miller) Hardesty. She loved her grandchildren more than anything in this world, and her greatest joy in life was being their grandmother. Theresa had a deep love for her animals, especially her dogs and her cherished horses, Babygirl and Ben. She was known for being resourceful, creative, and full of heart. She loved summertime, warm days, and being surrounded by the people and animals she loved most. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her loving partner, Garry Martin; daughter, Karla Broman; three grandchildren, Madison Brandner, Joshua Furcsik and Abigail Furcsik; two sisters, Dale Hardesty and Connie Hardesty; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She is preceded in death by her son, Joshua Broman; her parents, five brothers, Clyde Hardesty, Bill Hardesty, Frank Hardesty, Bob Hardesty and Donald Kelly; and sister, Rosemary Hardesty.
