Theresa Marie Peters, 55, of Portage, IN, passed away peacefully on September 2nd, 2023, in her home. Born on September 21st, 1967, in Valparaiso, IN, Theresa was a free and independent spirit, deeply passionate about working with her hands and embracing the thrill of riding motorcycles. She had an unwavering dedication to her family and could often be found at her residence, selflessly caring for those who needed her.

Theresa will be fondly remembered by her loving siblings, John W. Peters (Darlene), David S. Peters (Jennifer), Thelma L. Peters (Rocky), Kathaleen M. Magana (John), and Angela Rose Johnson, as well as her many nieces and nephews, all of whom will miss her profoundly.

In addition to her parents, Sandra S. Peters-Mangum and Richard C. Peters, Theresa was preceded in death by her beloved brother, Richard Charles Peters Jr. In accordance with her wishes, there will be no formal memorial service for her cremation.
