Theresa Jo Wherry

Theresa Jo Wherry, age 57, of Portage, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016. She was born on August 3, 1958 in Gary, Indiana to the late Marvin and Ruth Oglesby. In her free time, Theresa enjoyed doing puzzles, crocheting for her grandchildren, and cooking for her family. She was an avid fan of the princess Snow White, anything with strawberries on it, and deer.

She is survived by her daughters, Stefanie Wherry and Amber (Mike) Ratino; grandchildren, Haylee, Colin and Tori Ratino; brother, Dewayne (Robin) Oglesby; sisters, Ann Atwell, Barbara (Joe) Coleman; brothers in law, Johnny (Sue) Wherry, Melvin Daniels; sisters in law, Marge Oglesby, Dorothy Worthington, Pat (Wayne) Bellar, Becky (Roger) Harrison; many nieces, nephews and other loving family members; beloved furbaby, Buddy Jo Wherry; grand furbabies, Moonbeam and Lucky.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Marvin and Ruth Oglesby; beloved husband, Jimmie Wherry; brothers, Benjamin Oglesby and Phillip Oglesby; sister, Janetta Daniels; brothers in law, Walt Atwell, John Worthington, Gene Wherry; sister in law, Martha Roe.

A funeral service for Theresa will take place Saturday, March 26, 2016 at 11:30 am at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Pastor Danny Oliver officiating.
