Thomas "Tommy" A. Ables

Thomas A. Ables "Tommy", age 57, of Hobart passed away Tuesday June 21, 2022, at St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Tommy was born January 8, 1965, in Gary, Indiana to the late Homer and Nadine (Maupin) Ables. He was a Laser Printer Technician that worked for Laser Express. Tommy loved spending time with his family.

Thomas is survived by his wife, Michelle Ables of Hobart; three children, Josh Ables of Portage, Ashley (Jeff) Obermeyer of Schaumburg, IL, and Christopher (Brecklen) Ables of Ft. Collins, CO; six grandchildren, Levi, Isabella, Noah, Charlotte, Oliver, and Theodore; and many other dear relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his Parents and one brother, John Ables.

A memorial service will be conducted at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana 46368 Tuesday June 28, 2022, at 1 PM. Friends and family may gather at the funeral home from 12-1 PM on Tuesday for a memorial visitation. Tommy will be Cremated according to his wishes.
