Thomas W. Grissom
Age 71, passed away Friday, October 18, 2013 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Thomas was a 2003 retired plate conditioner for Bethlehem Steel. On June 30, 1962 Thomas married Patricia M. Gilbert in San Pedro, California. Thomas was a member of Jubilee Worship in Hobart; he loved his church and enjoyed spending time there working.
He is survived by his loving wife; Patricia Grissom of Lake Station, three sons; Glenn (Melissa) Grissom of Lake Village, IN, David (Shelby) Grissom of Hilton Head, S.C, and Mark (Stacy) Grissom of Hobart, daughter; Eva (Allan) Whitefield of Hobart, 11 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren brother; Ray Grissom of Missouri.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Jess and Grace (nee Simpson) Grissom, four sisters; Ruby Bess Simpson, Faye Grissom, Nellie McDonald and Cora Belle Stratton .

A funeral service for Thomas will be Wednesday, October 23, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Jubilee Worship Center, 415 N. Hobart Road, Hobart, with Bishop Dale P. Combs officiating. Burial at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 from 2:00 to 8:00 p.m. also at Jubilee Worship Center.
