Thomas P. O'Keefe

Age 76 passed away Wednesday, April 10,2024 at Advocate Christ Medical in Illinois. He was born October 25, 1947, in Gary, Indiana to the late James and Ruth (nee Massom) O'Keefe. In his younger years he loved to run and participated in many marathons. Thomas enjoyed reading and working with tools, he liked tinkering around the garage and basement. He will be remembered as a loving partner, uncle, great uncle, and friend.

Thomas is survived by his significant other of 50 years, Becky Hall; two nephews, Steve O' Keefe and Greg (Tana) O' Keefe; great nephew, Michael O'Keefe; great niece, Jennifer Benjamin; close friend, Mary Conder and many other loving family members and friends.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father, James O'Keefe, mother, Ruth (nee Massom) O'Keefe and brother, James O'Keefe and sister-in-law, Kay O' Keefe.

A memorial visitation will be held Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 11:00 am -1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old RIdge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m.  Saturday, May 4, 2024, also at Rees Funeral Home Hobart Chapel . Burial of Cremains will be at Calvary Cemetery, Portage, Indiana. .
