Thomas E. Wilkening, age 49 of Hebron passed away Sunday, May 20, 2018.  He was born on August 9, 1968 in Hammond, Indiana.  Tom worked as a Registered Nurse at Methodist Hospital.  He loved hunting, fishing, his garden, and his dogs.  Tom especially loved his family and attending his children's sporting events.

He is survived by his wife, Kelly Wilkening, one daughter, Rachel Wilkening, one son, Luke Wilkening all of Hebron, IN; his mother, Betty Jo Wilkening of Cedar Lake, IN; one brother, Jerry (Nancy) Wilkening of Cedar Lake, IN; father and mother in-law, Mike and Linda Miscko of Hobart, IN;  sister-in-law, Karey (Dave) Dziewicki of Hebron, IN; nieces and nephews, Sarah and Jared Wilkening, and Ashley, Ryan, and Caitlin Dziewicki.

He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Wilkening.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the family.

Visitation is Saturday, May 26, 2018 from 2p.m. to 8 p.m.  with a 7 p.m. funeral service with Rev Douglas J.
