Age 49, a Merrillville resident, previously of Portage passed away, Thursday, October 17, 2013. Tim was born on November 21, 1963 in Valparaiso, Indiana. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, cousin and friend.
He is survived by his beloved wife; Tracy (nee Higgins) Bonick, daughter; Morgan Bonick both of Merrillville, mother; Patricia (nee Pluta) Bonick of Florida, two brothers; Jeff Bonick of Portage, Rich Bonick of Valparaiso, father and mother -in -law; Tom and Betty Higgins of Merrillville and many other loving family members and friends. In lieu of flowers donations to Morgan's college fund would be appreciated.
He was preceded in death by his father Frank Bonick and brother, Kevin Bonick.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, October 22, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. directly at St Andrew the Apostle Church, 801 W. 73rd Avenue, Merrillville, IN 46410 with Rev. Brian D. Chadwick and Rev. Michael Kopil concelebrating the mass. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn, Schererville. Visitation is Monday, October 21, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart Chapel.
