Timothy Ellis Darling, a lifelong resident of Gary, IN, passed away July 18, 2015. He was born July 15, 1956 to William and Ida Darling; Beloved husband of 23 years to the late Rita Darling; Loving Father of Brandy Darling, and adoring Grandfather "Papa" of Naomi Bryant; Dear brother of William (Patricia) Darling, Larry (Agnes) Darling, Nina (Chris) Cunningham, Steve Darling, Grace Darling, and Ruthie (Brian) Counter. He was also a devoted step-father, grandfather, uncle, friend and mentor to many.
Timothy was an associate minister of the Northlake Church of Christ in Gary, IN. He was employed by Magnetics International, Inc. (American Iron Oxide Company) and a member of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. (Nu Chapter).
Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. directly at the Northlake Church of Christ, 1000 E. 21st Avenue Gary, IN 46407.Visitation will be Friday, July 24, 2015 at 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. Family hour will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friends and family are invited to give remarks during this time.
