Timothy Dickey

Age 76, of Portage passed away on Sunday, March 31, 2024, at Northwest Health in Portage. He was born on June 7,1947 to the late Dyrck and Jane (nee Strole) Dickey in Gary, Indiana. Timothy was a 1965 Hobart High School graduate and he retired from U.S. Steel where he worked as a roll grinder. He enjoyed golfing, sailing, and buying cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle, and friend.

He is survived by his brother, Mike Dickey; sister, Cynthia Lyman; nephew Craig (Cary) Schiess; great nieces, Audrey Slicker, Madalynn Slicker, and Ronie Bartlett; great nephew, Joshua Tomczak and special cousins John Dickey and Pat and Nancy Sommers.

Timothy was preceded in death by his parents and his niece, Carolyn (Kari) Schiess.
