Timothy "Tim" Dale Dotson, age 46, of Hobart, passed away Friday, November 11, 2016. Tim was born on February 15, 1970 in Gary, Indiana. Tim was so proud of his niece, Kaci. She was his pride and joy. Tim was an avid bowler, who also volunteered at St. Mary's Medical Center in Hobart. He also worked at Pizza Hut, in New Chicago, on Route 6. Tim will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend.

Tim is survived by his father, David T. Dotson; mother, Peggy (nee Hall) Dotson; sister, Dawn (Dave) Bellar; niece, Kaci Bellar; aunts, Betty Hall, Colleen Moehl, Sally Miller; uncles, Don (Betty) Dotson, Jerry (Donis) Hall; and many cousins.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Myrtis and Ethel Hall; fraternal grandparents, William and Ruby Dotson; uncles, Wayne Hall, Jim Miller

A funeral service for Tim, with Pastor Mark Hostetler officiating, will take place Friday, November 18, 2016 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN 46342. Burial will follow at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso. Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 17, 2016 from 2-8 pm at the funeral home. For more information, please call 219-924-2109.
