TIMOTHY J. FAVIA, age 65, of Hobart, passed away Friday, April 14, 2017. He was born on August 9, 1951 to the late Nick and Rose Favia. Tim worked as an auto mechanic at Performance Auto for 30 years and was a member of the Merchant Mill Local #1014. He loved cars and belonged to the Regional Streeters Car Club.

He is survived by his wife of over 44 years, Rebecca (nee Hedgepath); 2 daughters, Shannon (Anthony) Moyers and Nicole (Alan) Smith; 5 grandchildren, Mary, Lyn, and Cora Moyers, Austin Willis, and Lizzie Smith; brother, Anthony (Donna) Favia; sister, Florence (late Ron) Ellison; father-in-law, William Hedgepath; brothers-in-law, Gary (Irene) Hedgepath, Michael (Stephanie) Hedgepath, Billy (Gladys) Hedgepath; sister-in-law, Theresea (Randy) Hause; many nieces and nephews; special friends, Robert and Kelley Willis.

Tim was also preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Marie Hedgepath.

A visitation for Tim will be Tuesday, April 18, 2017 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. A funeral service will be Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home. Services will conclude at the funeral home.
