Timothy R. Thomas age 55, of Hobart, passed away Monday, March 20, 2017. Tim was born in Gary, Indiana on March 12, 1962 to Carl R. and Mona (nee Armes) Thomas. He enjoyed rehabbing homes and motorcycles and cars and enjoyed his life. Tim will be remembered as a loving; husband, father, brother, paw-paw, uncle and friend.

Tim is survived by his wife of 10 yrs., Michelle Sandefur -Thomas; son, TJ Thomas; two daughters, Sunshine (Ryan) Vinson and Anna Thomas; two grandchildren, James and David Thomas; father , Carl R. Thomas; brother, Anthony (Ruby) Thomas; sister, Melinda (Dwayne) Marlow; niece, Amanda Marlow; two nephews, Kyle Thomas and Bubba Marlow; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by daughter, Nichole Thomas and mother, Mona Thomas and step-son, Randy Sandefur.

A funeral service for Tim will take place Saturday, March 25, 2017 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave, Portage, IN 46368 with Pastor Ronnie Cox officiating.
