Tina Centifanto

Age 63 of Valparaiso passed away Thursday, October 23,2025 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on September 8, 1962, in Gary, Indiana to Emma (nee Benge) Ring and the late Howard Eugene Ring. Tina had a bright and outgoing personality that made everyone around her feel welcomed and appreciated. She loved the ocean and found her greatest peace at the beach- listening to the waves and feeling the sun on her face. She also adored Piglet collectibles and enjoyed building a cheerful collection that reflected her playful spirit. She enjoyed shopping and always had an eye for finding something fun or thoughtful. Above all. Tina cherished her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who brought her joy and laughter. Her warmth, humor and caring heart will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her loving husband, Anthony Centifanto; two step daughters, Sara (Miguel) Plazola, Sonya Centifanto; step-son, Joe (Chiquita) Quirin; two grandsons Sean and Evan Plazola; mother, Emma Ring; two brothers, Howard Keith Ring and Kevin (Theresa) Ring; sister, Sherri (Frank) Cooper; cousin, Rachel Benge and her best friend, Tammy Jean (Johnny) Dillion and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her late father, Howard Eugene Ring.
