Tina "Beaners" Thomas,

age 58, of Lake Station passed away Thursday, May 22, 2025, at St. Mary Medical Center. She was born February 13, 1967, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Paul and Barbara (Saxinger) Thomas II. Tina was a chef for 33 years at Pucci Restaurant in Chicago, Illinois and after Pucci closed she worked as a manager of Subway at Road Ranger Truck Stop. Tina was a very strong woman, a hard worker, she loved to cook and was a giving soul. Tina was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend.

Tina is survived by her husband, Ayodele Ikupeleye; daughter, Natasha J. Adams; grandchildren, D'Angelo Adams, Amiyah Guzman, Gianni Guzman, Jack D. Adams IV, and Xander Adams; sister, Connie (Petar) Jevdosic; numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Jack Deon Adams III; daughter, Ashly L. Adams; her parents; brother, Paul G. Thomas III and sister, June Saxinger.

A funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, at 6:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Avenue Portage, Indiana. Cremation to follow. A visitation will also be held Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
