Tome Lozanovski, age 55, a resident of Hobart passed away on March 27, 2011, after a 4-year battle with ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). He was born on January 30, 1956 in Bitola, Macedonia, the son of Kiril and Marika Lozanovski. Tome was married to Judy Dziubla on August 2, 1980 in Gary. Tome worked as a supervisor for UTLX Union Tank Car Company in East Chicago. Tome was an avid fisherman. Tome was a wonderful husband, father, son, brother, and a friend to all.
Tome is survived by his loving family; wife Judy Lozanovski, Hobart, son Thomas Lozanovski, Hobart, mother Marika Lozanovski, Hobart, brother Steve Lozanovski, Burlington, Kentucky, and other loving family and dear friends. Tome was preceded in death by his father Kiril Lozanovski.
A visitation for Tome Lozanovski will be held from 12:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with a 7:00 p.m. Pomen service. A morning visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 10:00 am directly at Saint Peter and Paul Macedonian Orthodox Church, 9660 Broadway, Crown Point with a funeral mass at 10:00 am with Father Tom Stamatov officiating.
