Obituary

Tommy R. Cadle, age 59, a life-long resident of Lake Station, passed away after a long battle with cancer on Friday, April 9, 2021.

Tommy was born on December 23, 1961 to the late Hobart and Opal (nee Steelman) Cadle, the last of 12.  He worked in construction and was most recently employed with Centennial Processing Steel.  He was a member of the American Legion Post 100 in Lake Station. Tommy enjoyed fishing and never missed a salmon season.  He loved to shoot guns, watch races, and golf.  He was a true "jack of all trades" and will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Tommy is survived by his siblings: Marie Mayville, James "Jr." Cadle, Brenda Pedroza, Louise (late Charles) Cox, and Bill Cadle; brother-in-law, Ralph Schindler; many beloved nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews; life-long friends: Johnny Stoddard and Albert Gonzalez; and his furry companion: Savage.

He was preceded in death also by his siblings: Clifford, John, and Paul Cadle, Florine "Flo" Duncan, Virginia Elwood, and Gail Schindler.

In lieu of flowers donations in Tommy's memory may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.

A funeral service will be held Friday, April 23, 2021 at 1:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Ave. Lake Station, Indiana 46405.  Visitation will take place prior to the service on Friday from 11-1 pm.  At rest Blake Cemetery. For more information, please call 219-962-1606.
