Treva Kay Flowers

Treva Kay (nee Dallas) Flowers, age 77, of Hobart passed away Monday, February 12, 2024. She was born January 16,1947 in Harrisburg, Illinois to the late Owen and Evelyn (nee Dougherty) Dallas. Treva married the love of her life, the late Daniel Flowers, on August 11, 1966, and spent 53 loving years together. Treva was a dedicated member of Barrington Ridge Baptist Church and taught Sunday School and Vacation Bible School for many years. She also went on mission trips to Mexico and Guatemala. Treva enjoyed sewing, quilting, roller skating, and gardening. She enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren and traveling internationally with her husband. Treva was a sweet and caring person, who would often serve others. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.

She is survived by her children; Steve (Karen) Flowers, Lisa (Tom) Bryant, Darren (Vicky) Flowers and Derrick (Betzy) Flowers; her seven grandchildren; Ashley (Sam), Abbey, Andrea, Sofia, Brooke, Levi, and Lucia; her great granddaughter, Penelope Kosich; her brothers, Dale (Vivian) Dallas and Mike (Nancy) Dallas; and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded by her loving husband Daniel; her parents, Owen and Evelyn Dallas; her brother, Ronnie Dallas; and her sister-in-law, Bonnie Dallas.

A visitation for Treva will be held Sunday February 18, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Barrington Ridge Baptist Church, Hobart, Indiana with additional visitation Monday February 19, 2024 from 9:00 am until time of service. A funeral service will be held Monday February 19, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Barrington Ridge Baptist Church, 97 Bracken Pkwy, Hobart, Indiana 46342. Pastor JJ Hairston and Bill Gibbs officiating.
