Trinidad Alfaro Jr, beloved husband, father, and Papa, passed away February 7, 2021 at the age of 70. Trinidad was born in Texas to the late, Trinidad and Rosa Alfaro. He currently resides in Hobart Indiana with his wife Linda and their dog, Sydney Trin worked for many years at ArcleorMittal  I/N Tek I/N Kote in New Carlisle Indiana. Trin was a member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Lake Station. Among the many organizations that he belonged to and volunteered at include, Dunes Masonic Lodge, South Bend Scottish Rite, Orak Shriners, LULAC, Habitat for Humanity, and Reins of Life. Trin loved spending time with his family, reading the newspaper with a good cup of coffee, hiking in Arizona, watching his favorite football team (Go Bears!), and taking his beloved dog on long walks along Lake Michigan.

Trinidad is survived by his wife, Linda,  daughters, Tina (Donny) Weitzel of Chesterton IN ; Alicia (Jody) Adams of Chesterton IN; grandchildren Kayla Ramos, Jenna Ramos, Joey (Drew) Ramos, Lucas Adams and Amelia Adams, great grandson Josey Ramos, extended family, Joe Ramos and siblings: John Alfaro of Lake Station, IN; Michael Alfaro of Hobart, IN; Refugio Alfaro of Chicago, IL; Godelvia Alfaro of Valparaiso, IN; Adislado Alfaro of Chicago, IL; Hector Alfaro of Portage, IN; "Aurora" (Raul) Insurriaga of Chicago, IL; Ruben Alfaro of Gary, IN; Antonio (Julia) Alfaro of Lake Station, IN; and Cathy Butner of Chicago, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Trinidad and Rosa Alfaro; and two brothers, Manuel Alfaro, Jesus Alfaro. Trinidad is a veteran of the Vietnam War. He served honorably in the Army.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Reins of Life Therapeutic Horseback Riding in Michigan City, IN. Trinidad will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

A memorial mass for Trinidad will be held at 10 am Tuesday, February 23,2021 directly at St Frances Xavier Catholic Church 2447 Putnam Street, Lake Station, Indiana 46405.
